I have been an attorney in active practice for 28 years. I am licensed in Ohio and New York, as well as numerous Federal and Appellate Courts. I am a 1989 graduate of Syracuse University College of Law, and received my B.S. from Bowling Green State University in 1986. Community involvement has always been important to me, presently serving on the Advisory Board of the Institute for Global Business, University of Akron College of Business (2010 – present), Walsh Jesuit High School Booster Club (2014 – 2016), Volunteer Service - Archbishop Hoban High School (2008 – 2012) , St. Sebastian Church and Elementary School (1998-2012), Boy Scouts of America (2002-2010), West Akron Baseball League (2006-2010), pro bono legal representation. Faith, Family, Friends, Community, Career, and personal well-being are priorities.
My litigation experience makes me particularly qualified to handle a variety of civil litigation matters including contract disputes, probate matters, business/partner disputes, insurance coverage disputes, injury claims, and others matters posing extraordinary issues. I have a keen sensitivity to probate and estate planning matters, and have successfully litigated breach of fiduciary cases.
For those who have lost a loved one, it can be a challenging time on many levels. I strive to alleviate much of the stress and worry that may come with the executor's role in handling the personal and business affairs of the one who has passed. Having lost my parents at a time when I was just endeavoring into the field of Law, I was witness to the problems one can face with an incomplete estate plan, or when details of probate administration are overlooked. I feel privileged to provide my clients with peace of mind knowing they can trust my work ethic, my professionalism, and my thoroughness.
